The integral Bigfoot™ probe features a v-groove design allowing you to accurately position on smooth, flat surfaces ensuring repeatable measurements. User selectable metric or imperial units display measurements in microns or mils. The ergonomic design makes the gauge comfortable and easy to hold, and the large easy-to-read angled LCD display is perfect for viewing from all angles.

Unit features auto switching to ferrous or non-ferrous capability making it ideal for measuring paint or powder on both steel and aluminum surfaces. The zero cal feature allows for easy calibration and gauge includes a factory calibration reset if you have no access to an uncoated substrate.
